One person, one finished course.
This page is for content creators and for freelance trainers — for everybody producing courses without a production team behind them. That is what the Solo plan is built around: the AI is already bought in, and there is not a single provider account for you to set up.
What that means in practice: you upload your material and work through six stages to a finished course package — without first requesting keys, comparing models or administering provider accounts.
The way in
What you do not have to set up
It is the setup before the first course that stops most solo operators — not the course itself. In the Solo plan that setup disappears; in exchange, the ceilings are fixed.
The AI is already there
On the Solo plan eCourse holds the provider accounts and covers the usage: model calls, rendered video minutes and OCR pages — up to fixed monthly ceilings. The two platform-managed providers are Mistral and Synthesia.

Where the AI comes from us, every use is additionally checked against a platform-wide gate. Above the hard cap a request is rejected; near the soft limit it is deferred if another run currently holds the slot with the provider. This is written here so you do not find it out in production.
Start alone without staying stuck alone
eCourse is multi-tenant by construction: teams, invitations and roles exist even while you work on your own. If somebody joins you later, you will not have to move your courses.
The run
From file to package
Six stages in a fixed order: parsing, knowledge, design, production, validation, publishing. Each stage is checkpointed on its own — you can stop a run and pick it up later without starting over.

Your voice
You stay the author
When you work alone, your own voice is part of what you sell. So there are three points where stepping in is explicitly designed for — and all of them come before anything is produced, not after.
Guidance up front
You record the brief, the context and the target audiences as free text. Guidance is versioned and only ever appended to, never overwritten.
Course design by hand
Modules, lessons and learning objectives can be changed. Every edit is stored as a new version and overwrites nothing.
Transcript before video
A video lesson starts as a transcript of scenes with narration and a visual cue. Rendering happens only after you approve it.

Why the smallest plan is the expensive one
Open the pricing page without warning and the order looks like a typo. It is not: on the Solo plan we buy the AI for you, and that purchase sits inside the price. From the Team plan on you bring your own provider keys, and the platform fee drops to the value of the software alone.
The switch stays open to you
As your volume grows, your own key eventually pays off. At that point you register your own credentials in the team settings and bind them to individual pipeline stages — validated when registered, replaceable at any time. Nothing about the product changes; only who pays the model bill does.
The result
The package is yours
At the end there is an LMS-ready ZIP package: one folder per module, each lesson an HTML file for text, quiz or transcript, or an MP4 file for video. The download link is deliberately short-lived.
What eCourse is not: a marketplace, and not a learning platform. Nothing is hosted here, nothing is sold here, and no learner progress is measured here. Where your courses run and how you sell them stays your decision — the package is built to be imported into an LMS, for example into ELP from the same house.

What solo operators ask first
- What happens when I use up the monthly allowance?
- The ceilings take effect. Above the hard cap a request to a platform-managed provider is rejected; near the soft limit it is deferred if another run currently holds the slot. More headroom comes from purchasing an addon, not from a setting.
- How much rework is left to me?
- The editorial part. eCourse supplies structure and a first draft; the decisions stay with you: guidance up front, the course design by hand, the video transcript before rendering. Before publishing, the whole course is there to read.
- Can I sell or deliver my courses through eCourse?
- No. eCourse authors courses and hands you a package — nothing is hosted and nothing is sold here. Where you offer the course is up to you; the package is built to be imported into an LMS.
- Can I move to my own provider keys later?
- Yes, from the Team plan on. You register your own credentials in the team settings and bind them to individual pipeline stages; they are validated against the provider when registered and can be rotated. Nothing about the workflow changes.
- What do I do when one lesson is no good?
- You have that one lesson regenerated. Each lesson has its own job and its own button for it; the rest of the course stays as it is. Alternatively you change the course design and let the affected lesson be produced from it again.
